We built PrivacyFill with a fundamental principle: a privacy tool should itself be private. Your generated identities, temporary emails, and preferences stay on your device. We never see, store, or transmit your personal data.

PrivacyFill helps you maintain online privacy by generating temporary identities:

• Temporary Email Generation — We create real, working disposable email addresses through third-party temporary email services
• Identity Generation — Random names, usernames, and passwords are generated locally in your browser
• Inbox Access — You can receive and read emails sent to your temporary addresses directly in the extension
• Auto-Fill — The extension can automatically populate signup forms with your generated identity

The following data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API:

• Your Real Email Address — We never ask for or access your personal email
• Your Real Name — We don't know who you are
• Browsing History — We don't track which websites you visit

• Form Detection — We detect input fields by their type, name, and placeholder text
• Data Injection — Only your generated identity data is inserted into forms
• No Reading — We don't read, store, or transmit any data you type into forms
• User Initiated — Auto-fill only happens when you click the button

Your data security is ensured through multiple layers:

• Local-Only Storage — All data is stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API
• Browser Sandboxing — Benefits from Chrome's built-in security isolation
• No Server Storage — We don't operate servers that store user data
• No Backups — Since we don't have your data, there's nothing to leak
• Automatic Cleanup — Uninstalling the extension removes all local data

You have full control over your data at all times:

When you purchase premium features:

• Payment Processing — All payments are handled exclusively by Google through the Chrome Web Store
• No Payment Data — We never receive, see, or store your credit card information
• License Verification — Premium status is verified through Chrome's licensing API
• One-Time Payment — No subscriptions, no recurring fees — pay once, use forever
• No Account Required — Premium is tied to your Chrome profile, not a PrivacyFill account

The free version includes:

• 10 Generations Per Month — Create up to 10 temporary identities monthly
• Full Feature Access — Temporary emails, inbox, and auto-fill all work in free tier
• Local Counter — Usage is tracked locally on your device, not on our servers
• Monthly Reset — Counter resets automatically each month

PrivacyFill is designed for users aged 13 and older. Since we don't collect any personal information from any users, we inherently don't collect data from children. However, we recommend parental guidance for users under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:

• Date Updated — The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the change
• Material Changes — Significant changes will be noted in extension update notes
• Continued Use — Using the extension after changes constitutes acceptance
